How to navigate Narwin Billing, Report Credits and more

Overview

The Billing & Usage page helps you monitor your AI usage, manage your subscription plan, and understand your current limits for RFP Analyses and AI Writing Credits.
Narwin offers flexible plans designed to fit different team sizes and proposal volumes — from individual users testing AI on real RFPs to enterprise teams running hundreds of analyses per month.

Step 1: Access the Billing & Usage Page

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  1. Under Company Settings, select Billing & Usage.
  1. You’ll see an overview of your usage, subscription status, and available plan options.

Step 2: Review Your Current Usage

At the top of the page, Narwin displays your workspace’s active usage statistics:

🧾 RFP Analysis Reports

  • Shows how many analysis projects are currently active in your workspace.
  • Displays your remaining report quota (e.g., 19/25 used, 6 remaining).
  • Each new RFP you upload and analyze counts as one Analysis Report.
đź’ˇ If you hit your report limit, you can upgrade your plan or contact support for other options

✍️ Writing Credits

  • Writing Credits are used when generating proposal content with AI Writer.
  • Each AI writing request consumes a small portion of credits depending on length and complexity.
  • Example: 74/200 credits used, 126 credits remaining.
🧠 Tip: The more data and context you provide in your company profile and uploads, the fewer credits you’ll need per draft — Narwin writes more efficiently with good training data.

Step 3: Understand Your Plan

Below the usage section, you’ll find Plans & Pricing.
Narwin currently offers four tiers to match different business needs:

🟩 Free Plan – $0/month

Perfect for first-time users who want to test Narwin on real RFPs.
Includes:
  • 3 RFP Analyses/month
  • AI-powered Bid/No-Bid recommendations
  • Unlimited proposal writing using AI Writer
  • Access to Canada & USA government opportunities
  • Weekly opportunity emails
🧭 Use this plan to explore how Narwin extracts requirements, analyzes fit, and generates proposals.

🟦 Starter Plan – $50/month

Ideal for small teams or solo users submitting a few RFPs per month.
Includes everything in the Free plan, plus:
  • 10 Full RFP Analyses/month
  • AI-powered proposal drafting with Google Drive integration
  • Daily AI-matched opportunities
  • Priority support and report sharing options

🟧 Growth Plan – $599/month

Best for growing organizations scaling their RFP pipeline.
Includes:
  • 50+ Full RFP Analyses/month
  • Unlimited proposal writing with collaborative editing
  • Advanced connectors (Slack, Notion, RFP Uploader)
  • Team sharing and advanced analytics
  • API integration options for automation

Step 4: Plan Upgrades & Payment

If you choose to upgrade:
  • Click Start Plan under your desired tier.
  • Payment is securely processed through Stripe.
  • Once upgraded, your RFP limits and credit allowances will automatically update.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once the plan takes effect.
⚠️ It may take a few hours for your new limits to appear after upgrading.

Step 5: Monitor Your Usage Regularly

Use this page to:
  • Track your remaining RFP Analysis Reports
  • Review your available writing credits
  • Understand when to upgrade or reset
  • View your current billing cycle and payment method
🔄 Usage resets at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused reports or credits do not roll over.

Step 6: Notifications & Plan Warnings

If you’re nearing your limit, Narwin will:
  • Show an in-app warning banner on the Billing & Usage page
  • Send an email alert prompting you to upgrade or free up capacity
You’ll never lose work — Narwin preserves all active analyses even if your quota is reached.
